Peking University
The course, Interfaith Relations in a Globalised World, is an interdisciplinary introduction to multi-faith relations in a globalised context.
The course considers past and present religious conflicts, dialogues and reconciliations.
Lectures are given by faculty members of the university’s Institute of Religious Culture, Foreign Languages College and Department of International Relations.
The course will develop relations with foreign teaching centres and invite international experts to deliver lectures.
Peking University, alongside the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, is taking the themes of the course beyond the university bringing together policy makers, academics and business leaders in the co-sponsored Beijing Forum to discuss the issues around multi-faith dialogue and religious harmony.
