Tecnológico de Monterrey is at the forefront of using technology to bring education to people. Its virtual university has 136,000 students in 30 countries with 21 branches in America, Europe and Asia and 32 campuses within Mexico. Their FGI course, 'Belief Systems and Globalisation' includes over 195 students from 8 campuses across Mexico.

The course takes specific aim at encouraging religious literacy and familiarity with current processes of globalisation. By promoting the understanding from a humanities perspective of the faith systems within the context of the global societies of the 21st century, Monterrey Tec’s students will gain a better understanding and comprehension of the historical, social, political & economic processes that are currently at play in the contemporary world.
